Presented by Sarah Tidey
Sarah Tidey has more than fifteen years experience in the legal and financial services field.
She started her career in private practice working in litigation, predominantly for insurance clients. She later worked as a solicitor in the claims department at Chubb, specialising in professional risks, including Directors’ and Officers’ liability and employment practices liability. She also spent three years working as a consultant in professional risks for Marsh in Hong Kong. She has conducted training workshops and organised conferences on the subject of professional risk.
Prior to joining Worklogic Sarah worked as a Case Manager for the Financial Ombudsman Service investigating disputes in the financial services sector and assisting the parties to reach a resolution without recourse to litigation.
Sarah has a special interest in the area of directors and managers duties and liabilities in the workplace. Worklogic specialises in resolving and managing employee disputes, bullying, sexual harassment, misconduct and discrimination in the workplace. As a consultant Sarah conducts workplace investigations, training programs and conflict resolution. She enjoys working with employers to help them reduce risk, manage change, improve working relationships and build workplaces that are healthy and productive.

Martin Phelan
Martin is a member of the Executive Board for Marsh’s Global Political Risk and Structured Credit Practice which provides a regular forum for the exchange and development of technical and strategic issues, including global carrier management, benchmarking and technology Since assuming responsibility for PRI for Marsh in Australia in 2003, Martin has led the negotiation and placement of in excess of US$1.5 billion in political risk insurance (including terrorism and political violence) coverage for clients investments, plant and contractual exposures, predominantly in the resources sector and located throughout south-east Asia, the Pacific and increasingly Africa and the Middle East, acting variously on behalf of corporate clients, debt providers, project sponsors or, in many instances, joint mandates.
David Gallagher
As senior IT Liability Underwriter, David brings highly specialised experience to work in helping LIU’s IT clients manage their Liability Insurance risks. David has Bachelor of Commerce and Science qualifications from Waikato and Auckland Universities and more than 17 years experience in the insurance industry. His insurance industry experience covers a wide range of businesses as he has worked in broking, on the agency side and with underwriting organisations.
