Presented by our guest speaker, Peter Marshall from Insurance House Group

Peter Marshall

An insurance professional with over 25 years in the industry, Peter Marshall is most often described by colleagues and staff as “different”. 

Commencing with GRE Insurance in 1984, he has been fortunate to work with a number of Australia’s leading insurers such as QBE and Zurich and broking businesses such as OAMPS and IH Group.  He has held a wide variety of roles from underwriting, sales, marketing, development, management, binding authority holder for Lloyds, customer relations, change management, business process engineering and has been involved with a number of start up business initiatives. 

Peter is currently working at Insurance House Group (an IBNA member). Involved with management of a number of underwriting binders, new business development of key client opportunities, the IHG Authorised Representative network and development of schemes and facilities for new markets across both the broking company and its subsidiary underwriting agency, ProRisk. 

Peter’s discussion “an Introduction to Underwriting” will be of interest all those who wish to know more about the mysterious world of underwriting.
